이번 유튜브 생중계 도입으로 시민 누구나 회의를 실시간으로 원활하게 시청할 수 있도록 했다. 이에 따라 시민들의 회의 시청 편의성이 더욱 높아질 것으로 기대된다.
김낙우 의장은 “이번 송출은 정책 결정 과정에 대한 시민 이해를 높이고, 의회 운영의 투명성을 강화하기 위한 조치”라며 “앞으로도 시민과 소통하는 열린 의회를 만들어 가겠다”는 뜻을 밝혔다.
