보은군, 보은중 학교정원 개방 '열린공원 조성사업' 추진

이번 사업은 주거지역 내 학교 공간을 지역사회에 개방해 주민들의 휴식과 여가 공간을 확충하고 학생과 지역 주민이 함께 어울릴 수 있는 열린 녹지공간을 조성하기 위해 추진된다.

사업 대상지는 보은읍 이평리 30-1번지 일원 약 3,032㎡ 규모로, 맨발걷기 길과 세족대 등 걷기 공간을 비롯해 운동 공간, 데크 쉼터, 야외무대, 조경 식재, 조명시설 등 주민과 학생이 함께 이용할 수 있는 다양한 휴식·활동 공간이 조성될 예정이다.
