[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원특례시의회는 24일 새천년수영장 리모델링 공사 준공식에 참석해 준공을 축하했다.
이번 준공식은 노후화된 수영장을 전면 리모델링하여 더욱 쾌적하고 안전한 환경으로 개선한 것을 기념하기 위해 마련됐다.
새천년수영장은 향후 시범 운영을 거쳐 시민들에게 정식 개방될 예정이다. 이날 행사에는 이재식 의장을 비롯하여 김정렬 부의장과 김동은 의원 및 장정희 기획경제위원장과 오세철 예산결산특별위원장 등 의장단과 시의원들이 참석해 시설을 둘러보며 준공을 축하했다.
