<브레이크뉴스 가평 = 이용하 기자> 가평군은 오는 5월 23일부터 6월 14일까지 농특산물 직거래장터인 ‘바로마켓 가평점’을 운영하기로 하고, 참여 농가를 4월 30일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다. 바로마켓 장터는 ‘자라섬 꽃 페스타’ 축제 기간에 맞춰 자라섬 중도 일원에 조성된다.
바로마켓 가평점은 농림축산식품부가 지원하고 한국농수산식품유통공사(aT)가 주관하는 전국 단위 대표 직거래장터다. 가평군은 2025년 해당 사업에 선정돼 가평군시설관리공단과 함께 5년간 지속 가능한 직거래 유통 기반을 구축해 나갈 계획이다.
이번 장터에서는 행사 기간 동안 제철 농산물과 잣, 산나물 등 임산물을 비롯해 축산물 및 가공품 등 다양한 농특산물을 소비자에게 직접 판매한다. 특히 가평뿐만 아니라 전국 각지의 농가가 참여하도록 문을 열어 품목의 다양성과 경쟁력을 한층 높일 방침이다.
