희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)와 현대오토에버(대표이사 서정식)가 코로나19 전담병원 의료종사자들에게 건강식품을 전달했다.
희망브리지와 현대오토에버는 22일 경기 파주시 경기도의료원에 한 달 동안 섭취할 수 있는 홍삼 제품 345세트와 경북 경주시 동국대학교 경주병원에 표고버섯 283세트를 전했다.
현대오토에버는 자사 사업장이 있는 파주와 경주지역 코로나19 전담병원의 의료종사자들을 응원하기 위해 3천만원을 들여 이번 물품을 마련했고, 임직원들이 적은 감사 메시지도 함께 보냈다.
현대오토에버 강동식 상무는 “직원들의 정성을 모아 마련된 이웃돕기 현물 나눔을 통해 코로나19로 어려운 시간을 보내고 있는 분들에게 도움이 됐으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “의료진분들이 겨울을 나는 데에 홍삼과 표고버섯이 도움 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
재난 구호모금 전문기관인 희망브리지 전국재해구호협회는 1961년 전국의 신문사와 방송사, 사회단체가 힘을 모아 설립한 순수 민간단체이자 국내 자연재해 피해 구호금을 지원할 수 있는 유일한 법정 구호단체다.
60년 동안 1조5천억 원의 성금과 5천만 점 넘는 구호물품을 지원했다. 특히 지난해 코로나19 극복 성금 1천8억 원을 모금해 3천1백만 점 가까운 물품을 방역 취약계층과 의료진, 치료시설 입소자 등에게 전달했다.

Hope Bridge and Hyundai Autoever delivered 345 sets of red ginseng products that can be consumed for one month to Gyeonggi Medical Center in Paju, Gyeonggi Province on the 22nd and 283 sets of shiitake mushrooms to Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital in Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk.
Hyundai Autoever spent 30 million won to support the medical workers at the Corona 19 hospitals in Paju and Gyeongju, where its business sites are located, and also sent a thank-you message from its employees.
Dong-sik Kang, managing director of Hyundai Autoever, said, “I hope that the donations made with the sincerity of our employees will help those who are having a difficult time due to COVID-19.”
Hope Bridge Secretary-General Kim Jeong-hee said, "I hope that red ginseng and shiitake mushrooms will help medical staff survive the winter."
Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, an organization specializing in disaster relief fundraising, is a purely private organization established in 1961 by newspapers, broadcasters, and social groups across the country, and is the only legal relief organization that can support domestic natural disaster relief funds.
For 60 years, it has donated 1.5 trillion won and provided more than 50 million relief items. In particular, last year, they raised 180 billion won to overcome COVID-19 and delivered close to 31 million items to vulnerable groups, medical staff, and residents of treatment facilities.
