영진전문대 도서관이 독서의 달을 맞아 지난달 19일 제7회 인문학백일장 개최했다.
이날 백일장에는 내국인 재학생 90여 명과 외국인 유학생 20여 명이 참가해 한글 솜씨를 맘껏 뽐냈다.

이와 함께 영진대학교는 독서의 달을 맞아 지난 2개월간 ‘메타버스 책맹탈출클럽’, ‘리포트 공모전’ 등 다양한 문화행사를 개최한 가운데 1천300여 명의 재학생이 참여했다.
이 가운데 도서관은 지난 20일 인문학백일장·문화행사 시상식을 열고, 백일장 장원인 김정원 학생에게 시상금 100만 원 등 입상자 17명에게 시상금 290만 원과 문화상품권 40만 원을 수여했다.
또 문화행사 입상자들에겐 갤럭시탭 S6, 에어팟 이어폰, 갤럭시 버즈 라이브, 카카오미니c 스피커 등 300만 원 상당의 상품을 시상했다.
김종신 도서관장(경영회계서비스계열 교수)은 “지금까지 경험해 볼 수 없었던 코로나19로 힘들어하는 학생들에게 이번 백일장과 문화행사가 대학생활에 활력을 불어넣은 좋은 기회가 됐다. 우리 학생들이 도서관에서 풍성한 지식을 쌓고 인생의 항로를 찾는 데 큰 힘이 될 수 있도록 앞으로 더 많은 노력과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

Director Kim Jong-shin (Professor of Business and Accounting Service Department) said, “For students struggling with COVID-19, which they have never experienced before, this 100-day event and cultural event were a great opportunity to revitalize their college life. We will spare no effort and support in the future so that our students can become a great force in building a wealth of knowledge in the library and finding a path in life.”
