경일대 사회공헌원, 백미 2,000kg을 대구 중구청에 기탁

경일대학교(총장 정현태) 사회공헌원이 교내 교직원들을 대상으로 모금활동을 펼쳐 구매한 키우미(백미) 1천 포대 중 2,000kg을 대구 중구청에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에 참석한 이점찬 학생처장은 “지역사회 돌봄과 취약계층 보호는 대학의 기본적인 책무”라며 “경일대학교는 앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 대학이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한편 경일대학교는 코로나19 확산이 시작하던 2020년 3월에도 모금활동을 통해 대구사회복지공동모금회에 성금 5천만 원을 기탁하기도 했다.
