대구시의회, 윤리심사자문위원회 위원 위촉식 개최

대구광역시의회(의장 장상수)는 윤리심사자문위원회의 위원 위촉식을 개최했다.

26일 오후 의회 간담회장에서 개최된 이번 윤리심사자문위원회 위원 위촉식은 윤리심사자문위원회는 개정된 지방자치법(‘22.1.13. 시행)에 따라 지방의원의 의정활동 책임성 강화를 위해 설치가 의무화되면서 한층 더 높은 책임성을 갖춘 의회로의 새 출발을 다짐하는 시간으로 진행되었다.

대구시의회는 학계, 법조계, 언론계, 시민사회로부터 관련분야에 공정성과 전문성을 갖춘 인사를 추천받아 총 7명으로 ‘대구광역시의회 윤리심사자문위원회’를 구성하고 위촉식을 시행하였으며 위촉식에 이어진 간담회에서는 자문위원회 위원 간 호선을 통해 대구경북흥사단 김정희 평의회 부의장을 위원장으로 선출했다.

윤리심사자문위원회는 의원의 겸직 및 영리행위 등에 관한 의장 자문과 의원의 윤리강령 및 윤리실천규범 준수 여부, 징계에 관한 윤리특위의 자문 등을 수행하게 되며, 지방의회는 윤리심사위원회의 의견을 존중하도록 하여 위원회 기능의 실효성을 확보했다. 위원의 임기는 2년으로 1회에 한하여 연임이 가능하다.
