광암해수욕장에서 해양레저스포츠 행사 이어져

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시는 ‘2022 창원 해양레저스포츠 행사’가 다음 달 2일부터 3일까지 남해안 해양레저스포츠 중심도시로 도약하는 창원시 광암해수욕장 일원에서 개최된다고 27일 밝혔다.

해수욕장 개장 첫날인 7월 2일 오전 10시, 광암해수욕장에서는 진동면 주민들이 함께 어우러질 수 있는 축제행사로 창원시가 주관·주최하는 ‘전통배 전마선 행사’가 열리고, 이날 오후 2시부터 다음날인 3일까지는 창원시와 한국해양소년연맹단이 공동주관하고 해양수산부에서 후원하는 ‘창원 코리아 SUP 챔피언쉽 대회’가 열린다.

이번 대회는 창원의 푸른 바다에서 지역주민과 해양레포츠 선수 360여 명이 참가하여 해양스포츠인의 축제의 장이 될 것이며, 대회의 구성은 지역주민이 참여하는 전마선대회(200m 레이싱과 장애물 걷기)와 전국의 해양스포츠 선수들이 참여하는 SUP 챔피언쉽 대회(장거리 경기, 단거리 경기 등)로 진행된다.
