대전·충남 지역 매장 7곳이 희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호) ‘희망으로 한 걸음 더 가게’ 캠페인에 동참했다.
희망브리지는 지난달 26~27일 대전과 충남 지역 7개 매장에서 ‘희망으로 한 걸음 더 가게’ 현판식을 진행했다고 1일 밝혔다.
희망브리지는 코로나19로 어려운 상황 속에서도 꾸준하게 나눔을 실천하는 착한 가게를 홍보하고, 국민들에게 코로나19 극복을 위한 희망을 주고자 작년 하반기에 ‘희망으로 한 걸음 더 가게’ 캠페인을 시작했다.
‘희망으로 한 걸음 더 가게’ 캠페인으로 모인 기부금은 재난 위기가정에 의료비, 생계비, 주거비 등의 형태로 지원된다.
현판식에 참여한 희망브리지 특수구조임무단 송덕형 대전 지부장은 “지역사회의 취약계층을 도울 뿐 아니라 소비자와 자영업자가 함께 나눔을 실천하는 ‘희망으로 한 걸음 더 가게’를 통해 선한 영향력이 확산되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “폭염과 수해 등 재난이 많이 일어나는 시기에 함께 하게 되어 더욱 든든하다”며 “희망브리지의 ‘희망으로 한 걸음 더 가게’와 나눔 사업을 연결함으로써 코로나19를 비롯한 재난에 취약한 이웃들을 잘 지원하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 희망브리지 특수구조임무단 대전 지부는 지역사회 취약계층 발굴 및 지원뿐 아니라 재난 발생 시 전국 단위의 긴급 지원 활동을 하고 있다. 물놀이 사고가 잦은 여름철에는 수상 임무 구조단, 수중 정화 활동 등 나눔과 봉사도 실천하고 있다.
