브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 7일 더불어민주당이 윤석열 대통령의 부인 김건희 여사에 대한 '특검법'을 당론으로 채택한데 대해, 이재명 대표 수호를 위한 물타기 정치공세라고 당장 중단해야 한다고 촉구했다.
권성동 원내대표는 이날 오전 국회에서 열린 원내대책회의에서 "김건희 여사와 관련해서는 이미 문재인 정부 시절 검찰 특수부와 금융감독원까지 동원해 2년 6개월이나 수사하고도 기소조차 하지 못했다. 특검이 얼마나 무리수인지 민주당 스스로 잘 알고 있을 것"이라고 밝혔다.
그는 "이재명 대표는 검찰 출석 요구조차 응하지 않고 있는데, 이런 정당에서 특검을 운운하는 모습이 기괴할 따름이다. 당 대표를 둘러싼 온갖 스펙터클한 범죄 의혹으로부터 국민의 관심을 피하기 위한 대국민 호객행위를 하는 것"이라고 비판했다.
이어 "민주당은 당 전체가 이 대표 개인의 '정치적 경호실'로 전락했고, 이것도 모자라 사법 영역마저 당대표를 향한 충성 경쟁 레이스로 타락시키고 말았다"며 "법을 피하기 위해 민주당이 몸부림칠수록 당대표와 당 전체는 '더불어 파멸'의 길로 갈 것"이라고 주장했다.
그러면서 "민생을 볼모로 한 '이재명 방탄'은 극렬 지지층에는 환호받을지 모르나 파멸로 이르는 길일 뿐이다. 상식 있는 국민은 '이재명 방탄'을 위한 국정 발목잡기를 결코 용납하지 않을 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
박형수 원내대변인도 이날 브리핑을 통해 "이재명 대표가 자신에 대한 검찰 소환이 임박하자 느닷없이 김건희 여사 특검을 주장하는 것은 특검까지 방탄조끼로 활용하려는 매우 비겁한 정치공세이자 물귀신 작전"이라며 "도이치모터스 사건은 문재인 정부 당시 추미애, 박범계 장관과 이성윤 검사장 등 친정부 검사들에 의해 먼지 한 톨까지 낱낱이 파헤쳐졌으나 결국 아무것도 나오지 않았던 사건"이라고 강조했다.
박 원내대변인은 "이재명 대표가 국회의원이 아니었다면, 민주당 대표가 아니었다면 과연 민주당이 의총까지 열어서 당론으로 ‘이재명 지키기’에 나설 수 있었겠나"면서 "결국 이재명 대표가 국회의원과 당 대표라는 겹겹의 방탄조끼를 입은 이유는 자신에 대한 범죄 수사를 국회 다수당의 힘으로 뭉개기 위한 것이었다는 것이 명확히 드러났다"고 말했다.

Kwon Sung-dong, floor leader of the party, said at a party meeting held at the National Assembly earlier in the day, "We have already mobilized the prosecution's special department and the financial watchdog during the Moon Jae In administration to investigate and prosecute for two and a half years ago. "The Democratic Party of Korea must be well aware of how unreasonable the special prosecutor is," he said.

"Lee Jae-myung's bulletproof, which uses people's lives as a hostage, may be cheered by the extreme supporters, but it is only a way to ruin." He added, "The common sense people will never allow the government to seize the government's ankle for 'Lee Jae-myung Bangtan'."
Floor spokesman Park Hyung-soo also said in a briefing, "Lee Jae-myung's sudden claim to the special prosecutor Kim Gun-hee is a very cowardly political offensive and a water ghost operation to use the special prosecutor as a bulletproof vest."
"If Lee Jae-myung wasn't a lawmaker, if it wasn't for the Democratic Party of Korea, the Democratic Party could have held a general meeting to protect Lee Jae-myung," floor spokesman Park said. "In the end, it turned out that the reason why Lee Jae-myung wore a layer of bulletproof vests was to crush the criminal investigation against him with the power of the National Assembly."
