재난 구호‧모금 전문기관 희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)가 8월 8~17일 집중호우로 피해를 본 8개 시도 2만 3518세대에 28일 국민 성금 235억 3100만원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
희망브리지는 지난 9월 8일 집중호우로 숨진 12명의 유가족과 실종된 1명의 가족, 주택이 전파된 29세대와 반파된 57세대 등 총 99세대에 국민 성금 4억 1750만원을 우선 전달했다. 이번에는 부상(2명), 주택 침수(2만 3168세대), 주 생계 수단 피해(343세대) 주민들을 지원했다. 추가로 접수한 주택 전파(1세대)와 주택 반파(4세대) 사례에 대한 지원도 이뤄졌다.
희망브리지는 이날 ▲부상자(장해 1~7급) 500만원 ▲부상자(장해 8~14급) 250만원 ▲주택 전파 세대 500만원 ▲주택 반파 세대 250만원 ▲주택 침수 세대 100만원 ▲주 생계 수단(농‧어‧임‧염업) 피해 세대 각 100만원을 피해 세대 개인 통장으로 직접 전했다. 지원 규모는 행정안전부 고시로 정해진 지원 상한이다.
지역별로는 비가 집중됐던 서울이 1만 5천821세대로 가장 많았고, ▲경기 6천575세대 ▲인천 630세대 ▲충남 324세대 ▲강원 94세대 ▲충북‧전북 36세대 ▲전남 2세대 등이다.
희망브리지는 이번에 지원한 2만3518세대 외에 장해등급이 확정되지 않거나 기타 사유로 자치단체에서 요청한 4165세대에 대한 성금 지급을 보류했다. 추후 신청을 받는 대로 계속해 지원할 계획이다.
더불어 지난 9월 11호 태풍 힌남노 피해 세대에 대해서도 11월 중 각 지자체가 피해를 등록하는 대로 성금을 전달한다.
희망브리지 송필호 회장은 “집중호우와 태풍으로 피해를 본 모든 분께 위로의 말씀을 드린다”며 “이재민들에게 국민 성금이 일상으로 돌아가는 데에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
