[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 19일 오전 11시부터 오후 4시 30분까지 진주종합경기장 야외무대 일원에서‘2022 진주시 반려동물 문화행사’를 개최한다.
이날 행사에서는 반려동물 이름표 만들기, 사진 콘테스트, 달고나 게임 등 체험프로그램과 반려동물 무료미용·건강상담, 반려용품 바자회 등이 열린다.
오후 1시부터는 야외무대에서 반려동물 교육이 진행되며 해당 교육내용을 바탕으로 선착순 100명 한정해 반려동물 OX퀴즈도 진행된다.
이후 반려동물의 6가지 행동 수행 가능 여부를 확인하는 반려동물 장기자랑이 이어질 예정이다.
반려동물을 키우고 있거나 관심 있는 진주시민 누구나 참여할 수 있으며 OX퀴즈와 장기자랑은 행사 당일까지, 사진 콘테스트는 11월 17일까지 농축산과 동물복지팀에 참가 신청하면 된다.
참여자 모두에게는 소정의 상품이 증정된다.
진주시 관계자는 “그동안 코로나19로 인해 반려동물 행사를 진행하지 못해 아쉬웠다”며 “이번 행사가 꼭 지켜야 할 펫티켓과 입양문화 확산 등 성숙한 반려문화 정착에 기여하고 반려인과 비반려인이 서로 소통하는 자리가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
