브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= bhc그룹의 대학생 봉사 단체 ‘해바라기 봉사단’이 어려운 이웃에게 따뜻한 겨울나기 물품을 전달했다.
bhc그룹은 13일 보도자료를 통해 해바라기 봉사단 6기 1조가 지난 10일 서울 용산구에 위치한 가톨릭 사랑 평화의 집을 방문해 담요, 핫팩 등 겨울 용품으로 구성된 겨울나기 키트를 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이날 봉사단원들은 추위로부터 보호해 줄 다양한 물품을 키트로 제작하는 것을 시작으로 봉사활동을 시작했다. 봉사단은 준비해 담요를 비롯해 장갑과 넥워머, 양말, 핫팩을 포장한 후 사랑 평화의 집에 전달했다. 전달된 물품은 관내 쪽방촌을 비롯해 도움이 필요한 분들께 전달될 예정이다.
해바라기 봉사단 6기 1조는 이번 봉사활동을 끝으로 1년간 활동을 마무리하게 됐다. 그동안 봉사단원들은 장벽 없는 세상 지도 만들기 활동을 시작으로 행복건강 키트 제작, 유기 동물 돌봄 활동, 디지털 샛강 지도 제작 봉사, 무료급식 봉사활동, 취약계층 김장김치 나눔 활동 등 다양한 주제로 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.
bhc그룹 관계자는 “6기 해바라기 봉사단원들은 지난 1년 동안 도움이 필요한 이웃을 위해 진심 어린 마음을 담아 다양한 곳에서 활동을 진행해 함께하는 사회적 가치를 실천했다”며 “그동안의 봉사단원 노력에 감사드리며 앞으로도 봉사단을 통해 나눔의 가치가 확산될 수 있도록 아낌없는 지원을 이어 나갈 것이다”고 전했다.
