[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 11일 시청 접견실에서 창원기독교연합회(회장 최정규 목사)가 설 명절을 맞아 저소득 가정에 전달해 달라며 사랑의 쌀 10kg 1,000포를 창원시에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
창원기독교연합회는 2015년부터 해마다 쌀 1,000포씩을 창원지역 저소득 가정을 위해 기탁하고 있는데, 올해도 기탁을 이어갔다.
최정규 창원기독교연합회장(합성감리교회 담임목사)은 “코로나19 장기화와 추운 겨울 한파로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역의 이웃들을 위해 사랑의 쌀을 기탁했다”며 “이웃들이 즐거운 설 명절을 보내는데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
