[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 11일 성산구 신촌동 성산자원회수시설, 재활용선별시설, 음식물류자원화처리시설 및 음폐수 바이오에너지화시설 등 관내 주요 자원순환시설 사업장을 점검하는 등 현장 행정을 실시했다.
이번 현장 행정은 생활습관 변화 등 1회용품 사용량 증가로 인해 처리량이 가중된 재활용품 선별장과 폐기물 성상변화로 소각처리에 어려움이 많은 실정 등 현장 애로사항을 청취하고, 생활폐기물 안정적 처리를 위해, 수고하는 종사원들의 노고를 격려하기 위해 마련됐다.
박진열 기후환경국장은 금년도 시행 중인 성산자원회수시설 2호기 대보수 사업시 안전사고가 발생하지 않도록 철저한 공정 및 현장관리와 ‘22.11월 준공한 창원 음폐수 바이오에너지화시설에 대하여 안정적인 음폐수처리 및 바이오가스 생산효율 극대화 등 시설물 운영관리에 최선을 다 해 줄 것을 당부했다.
박진열 기후환경국장은 “지속적인 현장 행정을 통해 폐기물 감량과 자원 재활용의 중요성을 알 수 있도록 홍보에 최선을 다 할 것”이라며 “어려운 여건 속에서도 묵묵히 고생하시는 여러분들이 계셔서 깨끗한 삶을 누릴 수 있다”고 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
