브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 서정숙 국민의힘 의원이 18일 오후 3시 경기도 용인시 수지구에서 지역사무소 개소식을 가졌다.
이날 개소식에는 김기현 대표, 이경재 전 방통위원장, 김호일 대한노인회중앙회장, 서상목 국제사회복지협의회장, 김성태 중앙위의장, 김정숙 전 세계여성단체협의회장, 김을동 전 최고위원, 이채익·최재형·정경희 의원 등이 참석했다.
윤재옥 원내대표·정우택 국회부의장·유의동 경기도당위원장, 김문수 경제사회노동위원장·이배용 국가교육위원장·이인선 의원·김옥이 전 의원 등이 축하의 인사를 전했다.
또한 대한의사협회(회장,이필수)·대한약사회(회장,최광훈)·대한간호협회(회장,김영경)·대한치과의사협회(회장, 박태근)·대한병원협회(회장, 윤동섭)를 비롯한 직능단체 주요 임원과, 용인지역에서는 용인지역 당협위원장(김준연 용인을 당협위원장, 김범수 용인정 당협위원장), 김근기 전 용인정 당협위원장(현 새마을대학원장) 등 지역 주요단체 인사와 지역 주민까지 약 200명이 참석했다.
서정숙 의원은 이날 인사말을 통해 "용인수지는 제2의 삶의 터전으로 삼아 살고 있는 곳으로서, 수지의 변화를 수십년 지켜본 진짜 수지주민으로서 수지 발전방향과 주민 니즈에 대해 누구보다 잘 알고 있다"면서 "국회 보건복지위원과 예산결산특위 위원으로서, 입법과 예산을 다루어본 경험이 풍부하고, 정부여당과 범사회적 네트워크가 탄탄하기 때문에 지역 발전을 원활하고 차질없이 추진하겠다"고 강조했다.
이어 그는 "진짜 수지주민으로서 ‘찐 수지 사랑’을 바탕으로 노장청이 함께 어울리며 모든 입법정책 역량을 쏟아부어 주민들이 바로 실감할 수 있는 ‘수지의 기분좋은 변화’를 만들어 내겠다"고 약속했다.
그러면서 "건강한 대한민국의 꿈을 꾸어왔고, 이를 실천하기 위해 사회약사로서, 21대 국회의원으로서 꿈을 실천하기 위해 지금까지 달려왔다. 앞으로도 수지 주민들과 함께 ‘건강하고 행복한 수지’의 꿈을 민생현장 속에서 하나하나 실현해 나가겠다"고 덧붙였다.
