28일 한수원에 따르면 황 사장은 EPRI 이사 39명 가운데 유일한 아시아기업인으로 지난 3월 이사들의 투표를 통해 이번에 이사로 선임됐으며, 임기는 4년이다. 앞으로 EPRI 고위급 및 이사 선임 등 인사 관련 의결 및 인사전략 수립 등의 활동을 하게 된다.
이날 황주호 한수원 사장은 아사드 만수르(Arshad Mansoor) EPRI CEO를 만나 SMR 사업모델과, 디지털변환, 원전 계속운전 및 이용률 향상 등 향후 협력 방향에 대해 논의했다.
