세종시가 비시가화지역의 난개발을 방지하고 계획적인 개발을 유도하기 위한 조치에 나섰다.

세종시가 1일 고시한 비시가화지역 성장관리계획 변경 고시의 주요 내용은 개발 과정에서 과도한 산지 훼손과 기반 시설 부족 문제 등을 개선하는 내용을 담고 있다.
이번 성장관리계획 변경 고시를 위해 세종시는 2021년도부터 지역주민·전문가·관련업 종사자·의회 등의 의견을 수렴하고 도시계획위원회 심의 과정을 거쳤다.
