【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박희경 기자=(재)영덕문화관광재단은 오는 6월부터 문화체육관광부 주최, 한국문화예술교육진흥원 주관으로 5년 연속 사업 2023 꿈의 댄스팀 ‘영덕(Young Duck)’프로그램을 운영한다고 16일 밝혔다.

2023 꿈의 댄스팀‘영덕(Young Duck)’은 지역의 아동, 청소년이 춤을 배우고 추면서 숨겨둔 재능과 정체성을 발견하고 자신만의 세계를 담은 춤을 만들어 가는 경험을 통해 미래 역량을 발굴하고 내적 성장을 이루어내는 무용 교육 프로그램이다.
교육은 K-POP 댄스, 커버댄스, 스트릿 댄스로 시작하여 창작 댄스, 실용 댄스, 컨템포러리로 확장해 나가고 향후 5년 간 지역 대표 청소년 댄스팀을 구성하는 것이 계획이다.
6월부터 시작되는 꿈의 댄스팀‘영덕’워크숍은 영덕군민 대상으로 아동, 청소년, 성인, 가족 단위 등 다양한 세대의 주민들에게‘춤’에 대한 인식을 넓히고 ‘꿈의 댄스팀’의 취지와 의미를 알리며 부모 서포터즈를 소개하는 자리로 마련될 예정이다.
이 프로그램에 대해 영덕문화관광재단 문화예술교육사는“영덕 청소년들의 문화예술에 대한 거리감을 해소하고 재능 발굴과 진로 개발을 할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다”는 점을 강조한다. 또“6월부터 진행하는 꿈의 댄스팀 워크숍은 청소년뿐만 아니라 가족들도 참가해서 서로를 이해하고 가족 간 소통과 화합을 도모하는 장이 될 것”이라고 전했다.
