세종시가 관내에서 발생한 전세 사기 피해자 긴금 지원대책을 추진한다.
이을 위해 세종시는 피해자 지원을 위해 전세자금 대출 및 긴급 주거용 주택을 피해자 지원을 위한 긴급대책으로 추진한다고 밝혔다.
지난 16일 경찰의 세종시 전세사기 혐의 수사 착수와 관련해 관계부서 간부급 공무원이 참석하는 긴급회의를 개최한 최민호 세종시장은 전세 사기 피해조사 및 긴급대책 지원 방안을 논의했다.
이날 논의된 피해자 지원 방안에는 일반피해자와 취약계층에 대한 전세자금 대출 지원과 이들에 대한 긴급 주거용 주택 지원 방안이 포함됐다.
이에 따라 관내 전세사기 피해를 입은 임차인은 관내 영업 중인 우리은행을 통해 일반피해자의 경우 최대 1.6억(1.2~2.1%)까지, 취약계층의 경우 1억 이하(무이자)로 전세자금 대출이 가능하다.
이와 동시에 시는 주거를 필요로 하는 피해자에게 제공하기 위해 긴급 주거용 주택을 20호 확보했으며, 추후 한국토지주택공사(LH) 등과 협의해 추가 확보해 나가기로 했다.
한편 세종시는 지난 4월부터 운영 중인 전세사기 상담센터를 통해 피해자 신고 접수, 피해사실확인서 발급은 물론, 피해자를 대상으로 하는 지원 대책 등 관련 업무처리 절차를 상세히 안내할 계획이다.
