세종시의회 교육안전위원회는 제83회 정례회 기간 중인 23일부터 25일까지 조례안 9건 및 동의안 2건, 기타안건 2건을 심사한 데 이어 ‘2022회계연도 결산’에 대한 예비심사를 실시했다.
23일 열린 1차 회의에서 교육안전위원회는 조례안 9건 중 8건을 원안 가결하고 1건을 수정 가결했으며, 동의안 등 기타 안건 2건을 원안 가결하고 2건을 보고.청취했다.
이소희 위원장은 “교육청 추진 정책에 관한 법률 검토가 취약한 만큼, 법률을 세심히 살펴 누락되는 업무가 없도록 노력을 기울여 달라”고 주문했다.
아울러 “심리적 위기를 겪는 학생에게 지원이 꼼꼼하게 이뤄질 수 있도록 홍보에 만전을 기울여 주길 바란다”고 말했다.
그리고 24일과 25일에는 제2~3차 회의를 열고 2022회계연도 일반 및 특별회계 세입세출 결산, 기금 결산, 예비비 지출 승인안을 심사했다.
교안위 위원들은 심사 과정에서 예산 편성 시 사업 계획을 면밀히 검토하여 예산을 편성했다. 또한 예산 집행의 적정성과 효율성 등을 살펴 불용되거나 이월되는 예산을 최소화할 수 있도록 후속 조치를 요구했다.
더불어 정책 목적과 부합되는 성과지표를 개발하고 성과지표 작성 시 정확도 검증에 심혈을 기울여야 한다는 의견도 제기했다.
한편 교육안전위원회 예비심사 결과는 예산결산특별위원회 심의를 거쳐 6월 15일 제83회 정례회 2차 본회의 의결로 최종 확정될 예정이다.
