이번 감사대상기관은 본청, 직속기관, 사업본부, 사업소, 11개 읍면동 및 (재)경주스마트미디어센터, (재)경주시장학회, (재)경주문화재단, (재)신라문화유산연구원, (재)경주화백컨벤션뷰로 등 이다.
지난해 행정사무감사는 태풍 힌남노 피해 복구에 전 행정력이 집중할 수 있도록 취소돼, 올해는 21년과 22년의 집행부 사업을 대상으로 행정사무감사를 실시한다.
경주시의회는 집행부 자료와 그간 접수한 제보 등 시민의 다양한 의견및 현장 확인을 바탕으로 각종 사업의 문제점에 대해서 날카로운 지적뿐만 아니라 새로운 대안도 제시해 미래지향적이고 올바른 정책 방향을제안하는 행정사무감사를 추진할 방침이다.
임활 행정복지위원장은 “집행부가 시민 복리증진과 지역발전을 위해 제대로된 행정을 수행하고 있는지 여부를 철저히 가리고, 시민들의 눈높이에서불편하고 잘못된 사항으로 제보된 것은 꼼꼼히 문제점을 지적하고 시정조치 하는 등 알차고 변화하는 행정사무감사를 이끌어가겠다” 고 밝혔다.
이진락 문화도시위원장은 “행정사무감사는 시민의 대의기관으로서 법이 부여한 의회의 중요한 권한 중 하나로서 시정운영 전반에 대해 시민들의입장에서 철두철미하게 감시하여 위법, 부당한 사항에 대해 시정요구하고 개선방향 등 대안을 제시하겠다” 고 말했다.
