세종시의회가 세종교육의 신뢰성에 대해 문제를 제기했다.

12일 세종시의회에 따르면 교육안전위원회 이소희 의원은 2023년 행정사무감사에서 “교육청 각 부서에서는 사각지대 없는 정책추진으로 세종교육에 대한 신뢰도를 높히라"고 주문했다.

이 의원은 지난해 마을학교 사업에 대한 문제점을 거론하면서 "공정하고 신뢰도 높은 책임 행정은 명확한 규정과 절차를 준수해야 한다"고 강조했다.

또 "구체적인 실행 정책이 동반되지 않은 면이 있는 만큼 교육청의 적극적인 인식개선이 필요하다"고도 언급했다.

5일 감사관실 소관 행정사무감사에서도 "서면 출석요구서와 같은 감사 절차를 진행하지 않고 예외조항 적용을 과도하게 남용하고 있다"며 "악용 가능성이 있는 만큼 이를 개선해야 한다"고 지적했다.

특히 “행정의 권위는 적법한 절차 속에서의 신뢰 있는 정책이 만들어 가는 것”이라고 말했다.

한편, 이소희 의원은 사각지대 없는 정책 추진으로는 고카페인 음료에 대한 학생, 학부모에 대한 경각심을 높이기 위한 캠페인을 제안했다.
