세종시 지역내 거주하고 있는 중앙부처 공직자들을 대상으로 한 전세사기 피해자가 대거 발생하고 있으면서 세종지역 내 사회 문제로 부상 하고 있는 가운데 세종시가 한국공인중개사협회 세종지부와 ‘민관 실무협의체’를 구성하고 전세사기 피해를 예방하기 위한 공동대응에 나선다고 밝혔다.
이번 협의체는 최근 사회적 이슈로 불거진 전세사기 피해를 예방하고, 공인중개사 지도 및 단속을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
세종시는 지난달 3회에 걸쳐 협회와 간담회를 갖고 전세사기 관련 이슈 사항을 지속 공유하면서 전세사기 피해예방을 위한 공동 대응방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.
하지만 세종시의 이러한 노력에도 대규모 전세사기가 우려되는 사고가 발생하면서 세종시의 노력이 보여주기식 행사를 한 것이 아니냐는 지적이다.
세종시는 협회와 민관 실무협의체를 통해 시민들에게 ‘부동산거래 상담제’를 운영하는 것은 물론, 중개업계의 각종 동향을 공유하며 전세사기 의심 등 불법거래에 대한 합동 지도·단속에 협력하기로 했다.
부동산거래 상담제는 부동산 매매, 주택 및 상가 임대차 계약 전반에 관한 상담으로 오는 22일 10시를 시작으로 매월 2주·4주차 목요일 10～16시 사이에 시청 민원실 내 상담실에서 운영된다.
상담사는 한국공인중개사협회 세종지부에 소속된 전문 중개인력을 선정해 순차적으로 상담을 실시하고, 주로 매매·전세 등의 적정 가격, 중개수수료, 계약 절차, 임대차 관련 법령 정보 등을 제공하게 된다.
민관협의체는 지난 1일부터 부동산중개업소 지도·단속을 실시 중으로 점검 결과에 따라 공인중개사법 위반행위에 대해 행정처분을 내리고, 위중한 위법행위가 확인되는 경우 수사기관에 고발 조치할 예정이다.
한국공인중개사협회 세종지부도 자체적으로 지난달 23일 개업공인중개사를 대상으로 ‘전세사기 예방교육’을 통해 적정 전세가율 중개, 중개보조원 관리 등의 교육을 실시했다.
