‘세종형 교육자유특구 조성 위한 연구모임' 간담회가 20일 열렸다.
세종시의회는 이날 의회청사 1층 대회의실에서 ‘세종형 교육자유특구 구축 방안’ 제2차 간담회를 열고 연구용역 착수 보고회를 가졌다.
간담회에는 이소희 대표의원과 김학서.윤지성 의원을 비롯해 세종시학교학부모연합회 회장 고지은, 여민합동법률사무소 류제화 변호사, 시청 전략기획과 이영옥 과장 등이 참석했다.
이날 간담회는 ‘세종형 교육자유특구 구축 방안 연구용역’의 착수 보고 청취 및 관련 질의답변 순으로 진행됐다.
연구모임 회원들은 “변화하는 미래 사회에 적응하고 경쟁력에 대비하기 위해서는 교육분야도 다양성을 가져야 한다”고 입을 모았다.
이에 “교육 현장의 의견을 바탕으로 우리 시의 교육여건을 분석하여 지역의 특성에 맞는 교육과정을 운영하는 등 교육자유특구 유치를 위해 노력하겠다”며 공감대를 형성했다.
연구용역으로는 교육자유특구 관련 환경변화 분석 .세종특별자치시 교육환경 및 여건 분석 ,세종특별자치시 교육수요자 인식 및 요구 분석 ,세종형 교육자유특구 모델 및 구축 방안 ,교육자유특구 이해관계자 및 관계 기관 의견 수렴 등이며, 연구 결과에 대한 중간 보고회는 8월에 있을 예정이다.
이소희 대표의원은 “이번 연구용역은 세종형 교육자유특구의 구축방안 여건 마련은 물론 향후 세종형 교육자유특구 정책수립을 위한 정책적 시사점도 제공할 수 있을 것”이라 강조했다.
