'평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회' 가 24일 열렸다.
㈔세계여성평화그룹 대전지부(IWPG, 지부장 조백리)는 이날 국립대전현충원 보훈동산에서 제5회 ‘평화사랑 그림 그리기 국제 대회’를 갖고 일정에 들어갔다.
‘자연에서 배우는 평화세상’란 주제로 열린 이번 대회는 대전 지역 초·중·고등학생과 학부모 등 200여명이 참가했다.
그림 그리기 국제 대회는 매년 대한민국과 해외 주요 도시에서 개최되며 어린이와 청소년들에게 지구촌 전쟁종식 세계평화를 실현하고자 하는 ‘Plant Peace’의 일환으로 추진됐다.
조백리 지부장은 인사말을 통해 “이번 그림대회가 전쟁으로 얼룩져 있는 지구촌을 평화세상으로 만들기 위한 평화문화 전파의 장이 되길 바란다”며 “자연은 말 그대로 서로 싸우지도 않고 경쟁하지도 않지만 스스로 성장하고 빛과 비와 공기를 모든 사람에게 공평하게 주고 있다. 여러분들이 그린 그림은 영원한 평화유산으로 기록되고 남겨질 것”이라고 말했다.
다음달 15일 예선 심사를 걸쳐 지부별 예선대회에서 뽑힌 초·중·고 부문별 1등 수상작 3점은 대한민국 예선 2차 심사 대상작에 올려지며, 각 나라에서 본부로 보내온 우수작품들과 겨뤄 최종작을 선정하게 된다.
