파주소방서는 지난 18일 파주시 조리읍 인근 야산에서 실종자를 무사히 구조했다고 밝혔다.
소방 관계자에 따르면 18일 오후 10시 23분경 우울증을 앓고 있는 60대 여성이 귀가하지 않는다는 경찰의 공동 대응 요청으로 119상황실에 접수됐다.

출동한 소방대는 4개조로 나누어 자택으로부터 주변 인근까지 수색에 나섰으며 CCTV 확인한 바, 실종자의 동선이 인근 야산으로 추정되어 출동 대원들은 야간에 등산로 주변으로 수색하던 중 실종자를 등산로에서 벗어난 지역에서 극적으로 발견하였고, 현장에서 구급대원들이 신속히 응급처치 후 병원으로 이송했다.
정찬영 파주소방서장은 “실종자가 위험한 상황에 처할 수 있는 상황이었는데, 야간에 적극적인 수색활동으로 빠른 시간 내 실종자를 발견하여 무사히 가족의 품으로 돌려보낼 수 있게 되어 다행이다”라고 전했다.[파주=박정호 기자]
