희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 (사)한국들녘경영체중앙연합회(회장 장수용, 이하 들녘경영체)가 지난 7월 호우로 피해를 본 이웃을 위해 써달라며 성금 2천5백만원을 맡겨왔다고 23일 밝혔다.
서울 마포구 희망브리지에서 열린 전달식에는 희망브리지 김정희 사무총장, 들녘경영체 장수용 중앙회장, 김대식 전북도연합회장, 윤관호 사무총장, 이상진 두류부회장, 정왕용 대외협력부장, 전업농신문 강종권 대표 등이 참석했다.
들녘경영체는 축구장 70개 면적에 달하는 50헥타르 이상 경작을 하는 농업회사법인, 영농조합으로 구성된 전국연합 농업인 단체다. 이번 호우로 전국 4백여 회원 농가 역시 큰 피해를 보았으나 사각지대에서 소외된 피해 농가 등을 위해 중앙회 임원과 각 도 연합회를 중심으로 십시일반 성금을 모았다.
장수용 회장은 “이번 성금 모금 활동은 우리 들녘경영체 임원과 회원들이 지역주민의 이웃으로서 당연히 해야 할 일”이라며 “들녘경영체는 이들의 고통을 함께 나누고 이재민이 하루속히 복구를 통해 일상생활로 돌아가길 바란다”
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “수해 이웃에 대한 사회적 관심이 더 필요한 때에 마음을 모아주신 들녘경영체에 감사하다”라며 “희망브리지는 피해를 본 이웃들이 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
