파주시산림조합에서는 지역내 어르신들의 건강증진과 여가선용을 도모하기 위하여 제10회 파주시산림조합장기 게이트볼대회를 8월 24일 파주종합운동장 게이트볼 경기장에서 성황리에 개최했다.

이날 대회에는 더불어민주당 박정 국회의원, 이성철 시의회 의장, 오창식·손형배·최창호·이익선·박대성·이혜정·손성익 시의원, 이한국·이용욱 도의원, 김종훈 파주시체육회장, 권욱민 농협중앙회 파주시지부장, 이갑영 북파주농협조합장, 백윤기 게이트볼협회장, 파주시산림조합 임직원 등 기관 단체장과 파주시 읍면동 100여명의 선수들이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다.

전진옥 조합장은 대회사에서 대회 준비에 힘써주신 파주시게이트볼연합회 백윤기 회장님이하 협회여러분들과 바쁘신 와중에도 참석하여 자리를 빛내주신 단체장님, 파주시 읍면동 선수들에게 감사를 표하며, 건실한 조합경영을 통해 내년에도 게이트볼 대회를 개최하여 지역사회에서 어르신들께 봉사하면서 사회적 책임을 다하는 조합이 되겠다고 말했다.
