소방관 부부는 곧바로 부상 정도를 확인했고, 헬기 이송이 필요하다고 판단해 119종합상황실로 구조요청을 했다.
양 소방장은 응급처치를 했고 박 소방장은 A씨를 업고 헬기 이착륙이 가능한 지점까지 이동해 구조헬기에 무사히 인계했다.
