안양시 동안구보건소가 아빠들의 육아 참여를 응원하기 위해 지난 10월 7일과 14일 예비 아빠 및 만 2세 이하의 자녀가 있는 아빠 34명을 대상으로 라떼파파 교육을 진행했다.
라떼파파는 남성도 육아에 적극적으로 참여하는 스웨덴에서 한 손에는 커피를 들고 다른 손으로는 유모차 손잡이를 끄는 아빠를 지칭하는 표현이다.
동안보건소는 예비 아빠 및 영유아 자녀를 가진 아빠들에게 육아에 필요한 실질적인 정보를 제공하고 육아참여도를 높이기 위해 ‘양성평등 육아문화 인식개선 프로그램(라떼파파교육)’을 마련했다.
교육내용은 △육아아빠의 실전 육아경험담 소개 △영유아 안전교육 △영유아 발달행동 및 이해 △자녀와 놀이 및 상호작용 방법 등 육아하는 아빠를 위해 꼭 필요한 내용을 중심으로 4개의 주제로 구성됐다.

특히, 웹툰 ‘닥터앤닥터 육아일기’로 유명한 이대양 작가가 강사로 나서 육아아빠의 실전 육아경험담을 전해주는 시간도 가졌다.
동안보건소는 오는 10월 21일과 28일에 2기 교육을 진행할 예정이다. 교육 참여를 원할 경우 동안구보건소 홈페이지에서 온라인으로 신청할 수 있다.
최대호 안양시장은 “같이하는 함께 육아, 가치 있는 행복 육아가 자리 잡을 수 있도록 사회적 분위기 조성을 위해 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.
