사람들이 시인(詩人)을
그물 속에 잡혀진
활어 정도로 생각하는 경우가 있어.
어항 속에서
언제 잡혀 먹힐지 모르는 활어
지느러미나 흔들어대는
힘없는 존재로 취급하기도 해.
사람, 무서운 존재야
무언가 만들고, 음모를 꾸미는 존재야.
공중에 비행기가 날게 하고
시간 당 수백km 달리는 쾌속열차를 만들고
한 방에 수 십 만 명을 죽인 핵폭탄도 제조했어.
사람들이 만든
수 만 가지 풍물들을 보기위해
시인은, 오늘도 동대문 풍물시장을 걷는다.
